we are presenting website, which is dedicated to the implementation of the Project under the name The Construction of the Centre for Modern Interdisciplinary Technologies Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. We hope that our publication will encourage you to get familiar with the objectives of the Project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Regional Operational Programme of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship 2007-2013.
The primary objective of the project is to build and equip a newly created entity, and by creating a scientific research infrastructure for study of the importance of application attract and develop research staff with the highest qualifications.
The implementation of the main objective of the project, i.e. an increase in co-operation between science, research and development of enterprises in the transfer of knowledge through the creation of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Modern Technologies, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, in 2012, will foster the improvement of business potential and increase business efficiency. The implementation of innovative solutions that improve the quality of an offered product, will result in enhancedcompetitiveness and economic development of the region. We believe that the implementation of the project will contribute to economic development in particular in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, and will make a lasting collaboration in the B+R sector of the economy.
